WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

Welcome to the Department of Office Technology and Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State Nigeria. The Department, which was formerly known as the Secretarial Studies Department was established at the inception of the Institution in 1979. At the inception, the Department had one permanent Lecturer and two visiting teachers for the Departmental courses while the remaining courses were handled by Lecturers from other Departments. Also, a total number of twenty-six (26) students were admitted to the National Diploma Programme. The quality of staff of the Department coupled with the teaching facilities and equipment, led to the accreditation of its ND and HND Programmes in 1984...

Jolaade, Isaac Akindele, holds Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Master Degree in Personnel Psychology of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Business Administration (Office and Information Management Option) of Lead City University, Ibadan (In View).  He has co-authored some textbooks and published research articles in some reputable journals.  He has equally attended local and international conferences and presented papers on relevant issues.  He worked as Secretarial Assistant in the Registry Department of the Polytechnic, served as Secretary to the Rector and Registrar, and as well served as the Coordinator, Weekend Programme of the Institution.  Currently, He is a Senior Lecturer in the Deapartment of Office Technology and Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.  He is happily married and blessed with children.
