WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

The Department was established by the Academic Board and a coordinator was appointed by the management to coordinate the proposed Department in September 2007. The N.B.T.E Resource Inspection Team visited the Department in November 2007 and approval to admit students for ND Surveying and Geoinformatics was granted with effect from October 2007. A substantive Head of the Department was appointed in January 2008. The first batch of students was admitted for the 2008/2009 session and full accreditation for the programme was granted with effect from 1st. October 2009 with two class streams of 30 students per stream. The National Diploma (ND) Programme commenced with 40 students in the 2008/2009...

I obtained my first degree in Geography from University of Ibadan in 1987, Professional Diploma in Surveying from Federal school of Surveying Oyo in 1990 and Master degree in Geographical Information system from University of Ibadan in 1999.
