WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

I welcome you to the Department of Agricultural Technology. We offer a baseline knowledge in the field of general agriculture. Our Staff are highly competent and fully equipped with local and international exposure to theoretical and practical agriculture using best and updated global practices. They are continuously being trained and retrained to impart knowledge and examine students in a manner that her diplomates can compete globally with their counterparts. Our graduates Have diverse opportunities to be a competent self-employed farmer there by being self-independent. In addition, they could be a Feedmil or farm manager, Technician or Technologist (for ND & HND diplomates respectively...

Dr. A. A. Lawanson is a Registered Animal Scientist. He has his Bachelor of Technology (Hons) degree in Animal Production and Health from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, A Masters of Science and a Doctorate degree in Animal Science from University of Ibadan. He is presently a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Technology, Federal Polytechnic Ilaro.
