FPI GIVES RELIEF PACKAGES TO THE INDIGENTS

The institution today commenced the distribution of palliatives, otherwise known as relief packages to the less privileged and vulnerables in Ilaro community.

The team kicked off the program at Gbokoto village, then to Sarumi, Oríle Itolu and Pahayi villages.

The package contains rice, beans, gari, maggi, sachet tomato, sachet groundnut oil, salt, sanitize and washable face masks.

The exercise continues tomorrow with distribution of sanitizers, face masks and public enlightenment at various junctions in Ilaro including Sayedero market.

The Rector, Arc. Segun Aluko, Ph. D enjoined the committee to ensure that the palliatives were given to those who really need it. 

The second phase of the exercise will take place before this week runs out.
