WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

You are all welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering. Well, it is worth noting that following the resource inspection visitation carried out by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in June 2002, approval was granted to the Institution to commence the National Diploma programme in Civil Engineering. A substantive Head of Department was appointed in October 2002. Consequently, the first intake commenced studies in the department in the 2002/2003 academic year. The department was in its eighth year of operation when in August 2010 the department had another visitation carried out by the NBTE for Resource Inspection to run the HND programme.
