WELCOME TO FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ILARO

The Federal Polytechnic was established on July 1979. It opened for operation with students at the Temporary Site, Anglican Grammar School, Ilaro. In the School of Management, Two (2) departments were created in 1979. The first one was Department of Business Administration headed with Mr. Olusegun Odunsi as the Pioneer Head of Department, the second Department was Secretarial Administration and the Coordinator was Mr. B. O. Ogunyinka of blessed memory. In 2008, under the leadership of Dr. R. A. Oloyo, the Department of Secretarial Administration was moved from the School of Management Studies to the School of Pure and Applied Sciences. Similarly, in 2017, Arch O. O.
