ASUP NAMES AKINDE AN AMBASSADOR

 

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Zone C has conferred the Rector of the Polytechnic, Dr. Mukail Aremu AKINDE, FCA, FCTI with an ASUP AMBASSADOR status owing to, (according to the Letter of Nomination), his, and the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro's contributions to the causes of both the Union and the Polytechnic education.

The conferment took place yesterday, 14th May, 2025 at the Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa during the ongoing 8th NATIONAL CONFERENCE 2025 of ASUP Zone C, themed INNOVATIVE RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

The conference, which started on Tuesday 13th, will close on Friday 16th May, 2025.

The Honouree, Dr Akinde was accompanied to the event by three Rectors; Dr. Ademola Ebeloku, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Engr. Dr. Sanni Yahaya, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, and Dr. Rasaq Akinbo of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health And Allied Sciences, Ilese Ijebu.

Also on the entourage were  Tpl A. L. Lasisi, our Deputy Rector, (Admin), Mrs A. F. Babatola, our Registrar, Dr. Adeoye Ileladewa, Deputy Rector, Admin, Federal Polytechnic, Ede as well as the Bursar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji.

A big congratulations to Dr. M. A. Akinde for making the Polytechnic community proud.
