CICT TRAINS FOR ICDL

The Federal Polytechnic Ilaro's Center for Information and Communication Technology, CICT, recently concluded a three-day training program on International Certificate of Digital Literacy (ICDL), themed "Information Technologies and Application Training". 

The program, which took place from October 7th to 9th, 2025, brought together academic staff from various schools, including Pure and Applied Sciences, Management Studies, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Communication Information Technology, and Agriculture.

‎The training aimed to equip staf with digital literacy skills based on the ICDL curriculum, enabling them to become certified instructors of digital literacy. 

Upon completion, participants received an ICDL certificate, enhancing their digital skills and employability.

This initiative aligns with the Nigerian government's efforts to promote digital literacy

‎The ICDL certification is recognized globally, and this training opportunity underscores the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro's commitment to fostering digital literacy and skills among its staff and students.
