DISCLAIMER: FALSE CONVOCATION NOTICE IN CIRCULATION

The attention of the Management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro has been drawn to a false and misleading message currently circulating on social media and messaging platforms regarding an alleged convocation scheduled for 4th February 2026, including requests for payment of convocation, certificate, and alumni fees via direct messages and WhatsApp links.

The Institution hereby states clearly that:

• No convocation date has been announced for 4th February 2026 or any other date at this time.

• No payments are to be made through personal WhatsApp numbers, direct messages, or third-party agents.

• The listed fees and payment instructions in the circulated message are NOT approved by the Institution.

All official announcements, including convocation dates, fees, and payment procedures, will be communicated only through the Institution’s official website, notice boards, and verified communication channels.

Members of the public, students, ND II, and HND II graduates are strongly advised to disregard the message entirely and avoid making any payments to individuals or links associated with it.

Please stay alert. Always verify information from official sources.
