ODFeL ORGANISES TRAIN THE TRAINERS WORKSHOP.
The Open Distance and Flexible e-Learning (ODFel) Centre, Federal Polythethic Ilaro, on Tuesday, January 7, 2006 organised a Train The Trainers Workshop for staff handling Entrepreneurship and ODFeL courses in the institution.
The workshop was aimed at strengthening staff with practical skills and knowledge so as to have effective teaching and learning delivery.
In her welcome address, Dr (Mrs) O.E Oduntan, the Director of ODFel appreciates the Rector, Dr Mukail Aremu Akinde, FCA, FCTI, ACIS for his support and willingness to always make academic work easier in the institution.
She highlighted the importance of the workshop as being aimed at improving instructional delivery so as to promote the use of digital learning tools across the institution.
Adding that for seamless online teaching and learning, the concerned staff were trained on Google form creation, enrolment of users etc.
Also speaking at the event, the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development center (Mrs. M .A Yssuff ) delivered a goodwill message ,she emphasized the relevance of continuous capacity building for staff and encouraged participant utilise the knowledge gained from the training.
The training session was practical and interactive, which allowed the trainees to gain hands-on experience.
The training features questions and answers session where participants were allowed to seek clarifications from the facilitators.
In attendance at the workshop was the Director, EDASAC, Mrs. M. A. Yusuf and staff from various departments.
