MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY
Overview
A brief history of the multimedia technology department at The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. The department was established on December 22, 2023, with approval from the NBTE, after a resource inspection of nineteen programmes, with a single stream of 60 students. To generate interesting and dynamic digital material, the department usually concentrates on integrating several media, including text, images, audio, video, and interactive features. As it is extracted from the Mass Communication Department, the department covers various fields, such as multimedia design, digital arts, animation, audiovisual production, and interactive media development. Multimedia technology is essential to creating creative and captivating digital material for a range of markets, including advertising, entertainment, healthcare, and education. It creates engaging and powerful multimedia experiences for audiences all over the world by combining a variety of skill sets and expertise.
