The National Diploma programme in Insurance is expected to produce graduates who should be able to:

Demonstrate basic knowledge of Insurance operations of different types of Insurance business;
Assist in the collection and integration of basis insurance data for use in making investment decisions;
Transmit a body of knowledge and a command of adequate technical business skills and techniques;
Learn and communicate successfully with others;
Understand themselves and their environments and the community in which they live;
Appreciate the importance of insurance business as it relates to life and properties;
Assist in the analysis and evaluation of investment proposals, price and market trends.
